In brief, you should know the following about us: GANSU, INC was established in 1990 with a mission purpose of providing outstanding eye care to the underserved of northwest China.  Our specialty is cataract surgery.  Volunteers have served since 1993 and have offered restored vision to 5200+ patients.  Surgery is performed in a mobile surgical facility; a modified "pop-up" camping trailer.  Envisioned by Dr. Robert C. Welsh of Coral Gables, Florida, this surgical suite was developed by GANSU, INC and is a first for anywhere in the world.  The GANSU, INC office is located in Warner Robins, GA.
